Thank you for being here. Whether you arrived through a search, a kind referral, or maybe you’re just an old spark checking in, I’m so glad you’ve found your way. I’m currently at full capacity and not taking on any new brand work. But since you’re here, I’ve left a little story for you, about coming home to yourself, and creating from that place.

This is Where Brands Begin
 

They told us success was out there. Somewhere far. Somewhere earned. But what if it was never something to find, only something to remember?

 

For years, I built beautiful things in other kingdoms. I crafted global stories, helped shape the identities of giants like Mercedes, Puma, and Nando’s. I learned the language of strategy and structure, of clarity and impact. I gathered tools, sharpened my eye, and tuned my instincts.

 

But the most sacred work? That began when I became a mother. When I returned home to myself and began creating alongside the most inspiring, magical women in my homeland of South Africa.

 

It was there I learned that branding could be nurturing. That design could hold space. That creativity, when rooted in care, becomes something deeply powerful.

 

In time, life called me across the ocean. I planted new roots in the quiet green of New Zealand, carrying with me everything I’d gathered, and everything I’d softened into. And from this still, heartful place, Benign Design was born.

 

Since then, I’ve had the honour of working with extraordinary women across the world. Women making ripples with beautiful intention. Women brave enough to bring their whole selves to the table. Women who weren’t just launching brands, they were coming home to their truth.

 

Together, we built brands with soul. We didn’t rush, we rooted. We wrapped structure around vision. We laid gentle bricks around bold ideas until, slowly, beautifully, a home appeared. Brands that felt like them.

 

And now, a new door has opened. One I’ve been quietly dreaming into for a long time, a project that is tender, consuming, and asking for every part of me.

 

So for now, Benign Design is entering a soft hibernation, not out of pause, but out of full-hearted commitment to what’s calling next.

 

To the women I’ve walked beside: thank you. You’ve made this journey luminous. You’ve reminded me that creativity can be sacred. That vision, when held with care, becomes a kind of alchemy. That building something true, from the inside out, is one of the most magnificent acts of love.

 

And to those arriving with curiosity, thank you for finding me.

I’m not taking on new work at the moment, but I hope our paths cross when the season shifts.
